LEGO Minifigure Holiday Card

Numero Uno on my daughters Christmas list this year is the LEGO Friends Bakery Shop.

Top of my boys list is LEGO Chima.

To say they l-o-v-e LEGO is an understatement. They are obsessed. But what kid isnt?!

The creative and on-the-cutting-edge LEGO empire recently reached out to me with something new and fun for the holidays. This holiday season, LEGO has created an online experience called Minifigure Family, which enables you to create your own customLEGO Minifigure Family holiday card. How cool?

It has nothing to do with interiors (sorry taking a break for a minute) and everything to do with thinking outside the box and spicing up the traditional holiday greeting card. Plus, I got my kids totally involved with this post, which they loved.

My kids (mostly my son since hes a whiz on the computer) got involved right away when they heard the word LEGO. Once I got them to the site, they had a blast customizing each member of our Minifig family. We were able to change and choose skin tone, facial expressions, outfits and more.

You can even set the background scene! Some are holiday-ish and some are just funny + cute. Youll likely find one you love.

Then you can easily share the card via social media (FB, Twitter, etc.) or save it to your computer. Like I mentioned earlier this week, I neglected to send out Christmas cards this year, which I still feel bad about. At least now I have an alternative option that is a much easier route what a bad cop out, but it works

From outfits to expressions to the North Pole background scene, my kids designed the entire card. I think it came out super cute! What do you think?

Whether you send / sent out traditional Christmas cards, the LEGO Minifigure holiday card collection is a new and different way to send greetings for the season. The best part was getting my kids involved in something that interests them. And believe me, they didnt stop at one card. We have a ton with all different characters and scenes.
