Christmas Wrapping with Duck Tape

This post brought to you by Duck Brand provided by ShurTech Brands, LLC. All opinions are 100% mine.

My shopping is pretty much wrapped up, and Ive even managed to mail a few gifts to family + friends before the long lines at the Post Office begin. I feel good. I feel ahead of the game. How about you?

A little confession though, Im forgoing Christmas cards this year. It was a difficult decision to make because I enjoy putting together our card each year, but I just couldnt get my mind wrapped around the idea this season. Once I made the final decision, I felt such a huge relief. Maybe Ill be more of a New Year card sender

With no Christmas cards to write & most gifts bought, Im starting to get excited about wrapping. Instead of the traditional paper and a bow, I like to get creative. Last year I used some basic, non-holiday materials and created such unique, yet simple wrappings. This year I wanted to do the same, but with a twist.

I decided my twist would include Duck BrandEZ Start Printed Packaging Tape. It comes in an array of stylish and colorful designs, and it made the perfect compliment to my wrapping. I even made a bow using the duck tape now I know you want to see that. So keep on reading

I had such a blast the other night when I turned the Christmas music up an extra notch and started the wrapping process. For the wrapping part of most of the presents, I used brown craft paper (like I did last year and shared plenty of ideas in this post), as well as simple red with green polka dot Christmas paper that I found at the dollar store.

One of the first presents I wrapped was for a friend of mine. The gift was going into a holiday bag, but to dress it up a bit and to personalize it, I added a decorative tag. Super easy

I took simple tags (from Staples), wrapped the holiday themed tape around the outer edge and secured. Then using letter stamps, I added her name. How much easier does it get?! Done.

So fun!

Okay, onto something different. A bow using Duck Tape. Yes a bow.

So basically, I took a 6 pieces of tape, scrunched it together, and added it to the present. I continued that about 6-8 times to build the bow. It was completely experimental, but I think the result is pretty neat.

The Duck Tape can really be used just like ribbon. Wrap it around the edge of a present, just as you would with ribbon. Heres another idea

And here is one more idea for you (similar to last years present)

I used brown craft paper for the wrapping, then wrapped red yarn around one side, and finished it off with a cute tag. How cute?!
